Session 8 Class 9
I found this great pack in my old stash somewhere, no idea where I got it from, but it has this great alphabet paper and some great bold patterns in it. I have just enough for kits this week with this layout. I used the School kids stamp set and thin cuts for the kids, apple and school. I had a bit of fun with colouring in the kids and the school, but if you wanted to colour in only a few items on them, it would still look cute. In another stamp set I have a cute chalkboard that would work for a few sayings on the inside, or leave it blank and use it for journalling. Feel free to place whichever sized pictures throughout the layout as I know that school pictures are usually either a bit bigger or a bit smaller than the 3x3's. Using another stamp set could also transform this layout into a cute primary one for a kid wearing bright colours or a party. I finished off this layout with some twine and I also added a stamp that is a folder tab underneath the top of the large photo.

Here's some summer amidst all this snow that seems like it will never stop! This is from an older paper pack called Surf's Up. I always liked the retro 60's feel. This isn't an overly complicated layout, but with the lagoon base pages it makes the other colours in the paper pop. Small touches, such as the sea star border underneath the title and the wooden shape amongst the flowers. Each layout will have a different assortment of flowers and there are 3 different wooden shapes to choose from, seashell, dolphin and seahorse. I hope this layout brightens your day!

I've had these camera stamp sets on my desk for quite a while, but the inspiration hasn't come until this week! I found an old paper pack, Stella. I love the colour combination with this paper pack. This has quite a bit of stamping, but I love the final layout. I created the camera sheet on the left side by stamping the camera's in a repeat pattern and filling the open spaces with a few words. I cut the camera from the You Are Here Cricut Cartridge. I finished off the layout with a cute washi tape banner, some jewels and baker's twine.

Session 8 Class 6
I found this cool gold flecked paper and some clear and gold "paper" in my stash that I wanted to use with this cool layout from Scrapbook Generations. It is a pretty easy layout to assemble. Just don't forget to take the plastic backing off of the clear and gold pieces. I accented this page with a gold foil Cricut title from the Flower Market. I added some sequins and some black glitter & gold foil tape.

The Making Waves paperpack is truly magical, it has some beautiful pieces of paper and the accessories are beautiful. My daughter keeps stealing all of the accessories off my desk so I have to go hunting for them.
I took some inspiration for this layout from the seasonal expression catalogue by using the circles as scales on the right page. To combine it into a 2 page layout, I used an overlay from the Artbooking Cartridge. I cut out the left scales using the centre cut function and then used the outside border as a frame on the right page. I added some stamping to accent the page with the lovely mermaid, some bubbles and the super cute saying. This layout could become 2 1-page layouts as well. The picture placement is open for what works for your pictures as well.

Session 8 Class 3
I was saying goodnight to my son and the famous line "I love you to the moon and back" from the wonderful book, Guess How Much I Love You, popped into my head. Lightbulb moment I guess as I had been struggling all day to come up with an idea for this weeks class. I played around with the CTMH stamp with the saying and the new Stargazer paper as I didn't want this layout to be overly gender specific. I like that the title box isn't overpowering the layout, but you can still see it since I used a mask to create the double coloured image. I random stamped the stars around the image and then adhered the moon with 3D foam. I used the star image from the Charming Cascades stamp set in the corners of the base pages and then completed the layout with a rocket and Saturn cut with the Cricut. As the rocket ship paper is quite busy, it was important to find balance and not have it crowd the page.
